2013 BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition
2012 marks the 40th anniversary of BMW’s M subsidiary and the company took the opportunity to celebrate this event in the coolest ways possible. The company invited lots of press journalist this week at Nurburgring for a special event where they saw the upcoming M6 GranCoupe in the flesh.

But, next to it BMW also brought a special M3 DTM Champion Edition - a tribute to Bruno Spengler’s championship in the recently concluded DTM 2012 season. The model will be limited to only 54 units - a tribute to all the 54 BMW’s DTM races in its history.

This special M3 is painted in a cool Frozen Black - a color that mimics the matte black in the M3 DTM and will be distinguished by special "Bruno Spengler" decals at the rear windows, a Bruno Helmet design on door sills and Bruno’s signature on CF interior trim. From the DTM car, the special M3 DTM Champion Edition also borrowed the M stripes across roof.

The model will be offered with a standard ZCP Competition Package which includes: black wheels, gloss black air inlets on bonnet, carbon fiber front splitters and carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The new BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition will go into production at the end of 2012 and first deliveries will be made in January 2013.
